I love foreign mission stories… From Joseph, the little maid, Jesus (above all), Paul, Martin Luther, Fulton in Fiji, Willie White, Tha Miang near Burma, Raymond S. Moore in Japan, to the modern mission stories of today. It is the same God working through His people. Enjoy…

  • An Unexpected Testimony
The neighbor lady over my shoulder in the photo is so precious to us. This day she was showing us her tea processing building. She was so happy to hear we were interested in using it because it feels to her like it should be used for something good. Before her husband died, the building was used to process green tea. One kind shepherd drew close to his flock with father-like… Read more: The Story Of Two Shepherds

Meanwhile, Ichishima-san’s “real” project was an hour drive south, renovating a three-story city building to be a center-of-influence. Neither project earned him more pay. He’s supported by a less-than-minimum-wage ministry stipend. He’s the man in the yellow helmet. One of the hardest working missionaries I’ve met. Mornings find him doing maintenance or chores around a third building used as a health food store in his town. After morning worships with the two… Read more: Ichishima-san
